Following the redevelopment of the northern part of the neighborhood (now home to the Prada Foundation), a number of initiatives have been launched, including the reopening of farmhouses in the peri-urban area to serve as new social and cultural spaces for residents. This is one of the areas of Milan that has seen the greatest increase in value during 2022, partly due to the announced construction of the Olympic Village, which will be built on the nearby former Porta Romana rail yard in preparation for the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics.
